Project Description

Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red Riding Hood is a fairytale photography project I crafted with the assistance of Trinity King, Anna Weber, Cinestill, Amara Gantz and Ryk Goddard to whom I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their desire to be involved.

Inspired by Richard Fidler’s interview with novelist Kate Forsyth on “the dark and violent origins of beloved fairy tales“, this modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood represents the wolf in the form of a laptop, highlighting the increased risk to children and young adults of becoming victims to online predators.

This work is a the second of a series of images based on fairytales, the first being my interpretation of the tale of Cinderella.
