On Gleaming Tide was conceptualised and crafted by hand in 2023 through digitally compositing (layering) a collection of photographs I captured across a 9-year period to create this singular artwork.
These images include; a white-bellied sea eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) on Flinders Island (captured in 2015), coastal surge on Bruny Island (captured in 2019), mountains and mist from Port Davey/Bathurst Harbour (captured in 20122), lichen rocks high on kunanyi/Mount Wellington (captured in 2023) and a still life of a Jarryd Bailey’s Varnished Gum Bonsai (captured in 2023).
No Artifical Intellilgence (AI) was used in the creation of this artwork.
