Description
How your purchase contributes
I was fortunate to receive a $1000 community grant from the City of Hobart however the total cost of presenting this exhibition is approximately $4000. At a minimum I am hoping that sales of the exhibition artworks will recover these costs.
If the exhibition costs are fully recovered 50% of any profit from artwork sales will be donated to the Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania. The remaining 50% will go to me as the artist with Photo Lutruwita’s commission paid from my share.
If total sales do not exceed exhibition costs no charitable contribution will arise.
Winning bidders may also choose to donate the physical print to the State Archives of Tasmania allowing it to become part of Tasmania’s historic record.
